Darren Chandler graduated from the British School of Osteopathy after completing the five year full time degree course, where he obtained a B.Ost (Hons). Darren was also awarded the highly coveted and sought after Student of the Year Award by HRH Princess Anne, in 2002.
Prior to training as an osteopath Darren had been a national level badminton player and a personal trainer, training many celebrities in London’s west end. He has brought an added dimension to Bow Osteopathy, through his expertise in exercise advice.

Since Qualifying Darren has taken various postgraduate courses in medical acupuncture and electrotherapy. He enjoys watching spinal surgical procedures at the London independent Hospital and visiting various consultants around London aiding his continual professional development.

Since 2006 Darren has worked in a busy GP practice treating private and NHS funded patients. Darren has gained great respect amongst the GP's, consultants and other medical professionals he has worked with throughout his career and who continue to refer patients to his clinics. The network of medical contacts that this created assisted Darren taking a lead role in establishing the National Back Pain Helpline in early 2008. The helpline functions as a source of professional advice and information for people with back pain, neck pain and related disorders.

At the beginning of 2009 Darren was invited by Vista diagnostics to provide clinical assessments for clients self referring for MRI scans and at the same time establish a clinic in the heart of London. The name of this clinic is “Spine Plus” based in Waterloo.

Darren has a keen interest in clinical diagnostics and specialises in spinal, sports and work related injuries. His knowledge and experience of proactively working with patients of all ages and conditions has been a strong foundation of his ongoing success. The goal is to continue to take his approach to osteopathy to a new level of excellence in holistic health care; striving to exceed each individual’s expectations.

He is a full member of the British Osteopathic Association (BOA) and is a state-registered osteopath with the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC) a body concerned with the continued professional development of practitioners.
